As a special treat, Jakobine Cordes feeds her 3 sheep and chicken slices of bread. Cordes lives in Oneida and makes hats and articles of clothing out of wool that she either sheers from her sheep or collects from different places.

She is one of the most amazing, kind, talented, person that I have ever met.
You have captured her wonderfully!

jakobine was an outstanding friend since 1964, a rare woman and person who influenced my art, my teaching of it, my life attitude, and my children
. She lived an interesting life because she was so interesting herself, and thank you Rusty for valuing her and taking care of her until the last moment. RIP jak. x shelley

I knew Jakobine from the mid to late 1960's when she lived in Syracuse and was pregnant with Niels. She also was a "neighbor" in Denmark, just across the boarder from my home in Schleswig-Holstein. Alas, lost touch and now find that she and Alfred are gone. Great and funny lady, they had great parties in Syracuse, N.Y.

She was an incredible sweet and kind person. I'm glad her and I got to cross paths briefly many years ago.
