05/08/15- Blood clot story for The Dallas Morning News

Robin Callan outside her home in Austin, Texas on May 8, 2015.
The more detailed blurb "Callan, who lives in Austin, suffered a pulmonary embolism three years ago after she spent hours traveling by car from Austin to Destin, Fla., on her way to Disney World in Orlando.  At the hotel in Destin, Callan fell, requiring a trip to a hospital. Doctors applied a boot that went from her toes to her kneecap. , , Unwisely, as it turns out, she kept her leg elevated during the eight-hour drive from Destin to Orlando. Even more intense pain forced her back to a hospital, where she got the bad news: She had a pulmonary embolism (a sudden blockage in a lung artery usually caused by a blood clot that travels to the lung from a vein in the leg)., , Callan blames hers primarily on the car trip, as did her doctors."
