
Dorothy Richter, 85 feeds the geese that she suspects came from the East side of Lamar Blvd. A friend had called her the night before expressing concerned that the geese were missing from their usually spot which for a while been transformed into a parking lot. Richter has been coming to Zilker Park to swim and feed the birds for about 30 years.

Phil MacNut is a member of the local group called dorkbot. They comprise of a group of people who get together monthly to show off their inventions and innovations. MacNut invented this musical instrument that he implanted inside a vintage 1984 Macintosh computer that he purchased at Goodwill. The devices is connected to a Moog keyboard and is played by waving hands near the antenna of the machine.
