I like colorful things!

These were shot with a Canon 5d... I love my new baby!

Okay so I'm a terrible photo editor... which is better the one shot with a 20mm....

or the one with the 50mm?

I shot fishes and sting rays at the Asian market.... then was asked to stop! :)

Mediterranean garlic

So I tried playing with a reflective floor and one light source... dunno how satisfied I am with the end product... but I worked it and I tried, and here's whats left of it.

That by the way is Mediterranean garlic that I got from my friend's dad who plants them. Didja know that there are lots and lots of different kinds of garlic? Well next time don't but the regular bulbs you see the the local grocery store, seek out different types, you won't be disappointed! :)

Koi and much much more!

Reminder to self: ab workouts are good when you have to dangle yourself halfway off of a small bridge above a koi pond.

Mom in the Koi pond... even though I've never been to Vietnam it reminds me of a rice field. :)

Dad showed me how to change the oil in my car.

Then I decided to use the oil as my mirror! :)

This looks like some kind of photo illustration for energy conservation... buts it's really a tree in my front yard with a work light switch in it!

Daily blog is back!

So after being discouraged by unnamed person for almost a year... the DAILY blog is back!!! yay!

Going to a barter assignment I left a little bit early and found this awesome orange/grapefruit stand!

Rigo Tamayo, 62, is from the Valley and drives the 500 miles to Fort Worth every week to sell his seasonal fruits of oranges, grapefruits and watermelon and has been doing so for the past 12 years. Tamayo usually drives up with a few others at the beginning of the week and stay at a local hotel for the week before returning home for the weekend, only to make the trip again the next week.

My barter assignment didn't want his stuff published anywhere, but here's a scene from that shoot that doesn't give anything away! :)
