06/03/11- Texas4000 cyclist for Dallas Morning News


 Bijal Mehta, a 23-year-old biker, UT Austin student and Carrollton native gives the Longhorn hang signal as she makes her way with the group to Jack & Adam's Bicycle shop to have a lunch before leaving to Cedar Park, TX. Mehta will be in the Texas4000 bike ride, the world's largest bike ride leaving from Austin, Texas on Friday, June 3, 2011 and arriving in Anchorage, AK by mid August. Stephen really liked these Tuscan cantaloupes and I decided last year I was going to try to save the seed and see if they were going to grow here since I couldn't find any growing info online and... Viola! :)

Yay! Stephen with the help of our neighbor Bernie made me a chicken coop while I was away! Can't wait to fill it with chickens! Prepare for lots of chicken photos when they do come! :)

Nostalgia galore! After likely over 10 years of not playing, I found the game for a few bucks at Savers and we spent 2.5 hours playing! :) Yay good times!

Half Price Books is going into college book sales in a few markets and implementing some changes to its book-buying process at nine of it's  locations across the country. The nine test stores are located near college campus in Arizona, California and Washington and the only Texas location near Texas A&M in College Station, Texas on Saturday, May 22, 2011.
