I got to go back to my roots in some ways this past weekend. I started photography in 2002 as a junior in high school and my first shoot was just a fun shoot during a track meet of my sister and my boyfriend at the time. It was nice to come back to it nearly 12 years later. Below were a few from the shoot.

I technically shot the wrong lane for this shot, but it came out nice :)

Yay, pole vault! I really like the takeoff photo (not posted to the blog); nice job getting her face through the arm-window :o) Also, 4.35m is ridiculous for a high-schooler. That would've been good for the world record as recently as 1995, and is only 70cm off the present-day world record.
Unrelated comment: you should clean your sensor :o)
Ha! Good reminder! My camera does the self cleaning thing but I need to figure out if I need to manual do it or if there is another function I don't know about yet!
Beautiful photo of the pole vaulter.
Lots of other great stuff also. I saw your links on the nextdoor site. Thank you for sharing your view of the world.
